Personally-Identifying Information We Collect

Personally-identifying information is collected when you voluntarily register, submit an online contact form, request information about educational services, and/or apply online (“Personal Information”). Personal Information we may collect includes, but is not limited to, your first and last name, date and place of birth, mailing address, phone number, email address, social security number, citizenship, passport number, current level of education, previous schools attended, career experience, life experiences and educational interests. In addition, if you submit an online application through the Website we may collect certain financial information such as your credit card or debit card number, expiration date and security code in order to process your application and collect payment. If you communicate to us by e-mail, we will record the e-mail address from which you send your message. Any telephone calls to and from MUD may be monitored and recorded for quality assurance and training purposes.

When you access and use the Website from your mobile devices, we receive data from the mobile device you use to access the Website. This may include your location data, IP address, device type, and operating system. Non-Personally-Identifying Information We Collect

Non-personally-identifying information or “Aggregate Information” is information that, without the aid of additional information, cannot be directly associated with a specific person. Like most website operators, we collect Aggregate Information about your activities online including referring/exit pages and URLs, computer settings, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information through the use of cookies, pixel tags, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, click-through URLs, domain name tracking, and analytics. Cookies.

Pixel Tags.
Pixel tags (a.k.a. clear gifs) are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, which allow us to monitor the use of our Website and to deliver banner advertisements to you about our products and services as you browse the Internet. Pixel tags generally work in conjunction with cookies, registering when a particular computer visits a particular page. You cannot decline pixel tags; however, if you turn off cookies the pixel tag will simply detect an anonymous visit. In addition, we use pixel tags in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by the recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. MUD’s servers also automatically identify your computer or mobile device by its Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provider. Your IP address does not identify you by name, however, it may reveal your geographic area and your Internet Service Provider.

Computer Profiles.
MUD may also collect and accumulate computer profile data which will help us understand and analyze the experience of our visitors. For example, MUD may collect data relating to the type of browser used, operating system software, screen resolution, color capability, browser plug-ins, language settings, cookie preferences, search engine keywords, and JavaScript enablement.

Click Through URLS.
MUD may send you e-mail messages with a “click-through URL” linked to the content of the Website. When you click onto one of these URLs, you will pass through our server before arriving at the destination webpage. MUD may track this click-through data to help us determine subscriber interest in the subject matter and measure the effectiveness of our subscriber communications. You can avoid being tracked simply by not clicking on any links or images in the e-mail.

Domain Name Tracking.
When you use the Website, we automatically record the name of the domain from which you accessed the Website. Additionally, if you reach the Website by means of a link from another site, our computers will note the fact that you came to us from that linked site. Analytics.
MUD may use one or more third party analytics programs, including but not limited to Google Analytics, to help analyze how users utilize the Website. Google Analytics does not collect any Personal Information. MUD does not sell, rent, or trade Personal Information to any third party. Additionally, MUD does not disclose any Personal Information to any third party for that party’s own marketing purposes. However, MUD may disclose Personal Information to third party service providers hired to perform internal business functions on our behalf. MUD may also share Aggregate Information with third parties for advertising and promotional purposes. We may also use third-party companies to assist in collection and analysis of data collected through the use of pixel tags. Further, we may disclose information to government/regulatory agencies as MUD deems reasonably necessary to comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

User Disclosures.
Some Personal Information is disclosed as a matter of course as a result of your use of any public forums that may be available on the Website and third party applications provided on the Website (such as Facebook, YouTube, Google+, or Twitter). Any information shared via these public forums and third party applications may become public information. We cannot control the use of information you disclose in public forums, such as social media sites, bulletin boards, blogs, chat rooms, wiki and networking functions of mobile applications. Business Transitions.
MUD reserves the right to transfer all User Information in its possession in the event MUD goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets.
