Every Girl Deserves a Beautiful Future

Noella Coursaris Musunka, international model and activist

Make-Up Designory (MUD) is pleased to align with Noella Coursaris Musunka, an international model and activist who is making a meaningful contribution to the lives of girls in need. We recently completed a photo shoot with Noella in which she modeled a range of shades and colors of MUD make-up that bring out the beauty of her ethnic skin tone.

Noella is fiercely proud of her African heritage. Born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), she attended business school in Switzerland before embarking on a career as an internationally acclaimed model. Her awareness of the challenges that girls face in the DRC inspired her to create the Georges Malaika Foundation in 2007. This organization is devoted to helping girls in the DRC and Greater Africa achieve their goals through education. Together, Noella and her dedicated team of professionals hope to solve the education crisis in the DRC and raise the literacy rate among Congolese women.

Most recently Noella spoke on behalf of impoverished Congolese youth at an international photography exhibition at the James Cohan Gallery in New York, in the hope of focusing humanitarian efforts on the abject poverty and hopelessness in the DRC’s war-torn regions.
